Arne Jacobsen was known as an architect who made total designs when de designed buildings. In 1971, Arne Jacobsen drew the Nation bank in Copenhagen. For the beautiful marble clad building, Arne Jacobsen designed the Bankers clock. The design was modern for its time and still is to this day. The gray matte surface of the clock is a tribute to Arne Jacobsens favorite material, the gray marble in which the National bank is cladded. The orange details are a modern interpretation of the red dot.
