Kumo is a series of handmade indoor lanterns in a simple and beautiful design that creates a cozy atmosphere in the interior.
Kumo means “spider” and is inspired by the expression of the lantern, reminiscent of a spider’s web.
The Kumo lantern is made of jumbled wire – a kind of braided metal band, wrapped around the lantern in a detailed and curly pattern that creates the round and organic shape of the lantern. When a candlelight is lit in the lantern, the beautiful pattern will create dancing shadows on the wall.
The Kumo lantern has a simple handle which allows the lantern to be moved around where the light and the cozy atmosphere is desired.
The Kumo lantern comes in two sizes and is sold individually.
