Year after year, Holmegaard’s glass decorations create new memories through reflections in glass. Holmegaard’s annual Christmas bell, heart and star made from mouth-blown glass have become a regular collector’s item in many homes. They have been created by Danish designer Ann-Sofi Romme, who also made the first Holmegaard Christmas bell with motif in 1993. And since then, this has turned into an entire collection of bells, hearts, stars and baubles in mouth-blown glass, which each year are given a beautiful new Christmas motif. The 2024 collection has chosen the braided paper star as the basis of its nostalgic festive theme. This year’s small 2024 Christmas star from Ann-Sofi Romme measures 8.5 cm in diameter, is adorned with a braided star and, as always, made from mouth-blown glass. The colours have been kept in a classic red and gold with a metallic finish, and the small red hearts bring extra cosiness to the season. The graphic decoration is in line with both Christmas traditions and the current colour trend. Matching red silk ribbons make the decorations perfect for hanging on the tree, in the window or on spruce branches around your home together with the rest of the nostalgic series.
